2. Before You Get On

A competent person must inspect scaffolds before every shift and after weather events. Don't get on an uninspected scaffold.

3. Capacity & Access

Know the rated load of the scaffold. Never climb cross-braces for access; use proper ladders or stair towers only.

4. Fall Protection

Guardrails are required at 10 ft. Use Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) when guardrails aren't feasible. Always tie off on suspended scaffolds.
